Trump and his Democratic challenger shared the stage at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, before mediator Kristen Welker of NBC News. Thursday's discussion was intended to be the third and last of the political decision season, however the discussion booked for Oct. 15 was dropped, after the president's COVID-19 analysis provoked the Committee on Presidential Debates to make the discussion virtual, and Trump would not take an interest.
